Fill up your shopping baskets and help fill up the lives of those in need during Fairway’s shopping night for . In a long-standing partnership with St. Luke’s LifeWorks, in Stamford has successfully provided training for homeless individuals in areas such as culinary arts, customer service, and effective workplace communications; has employed dozens of clients and continues to support the organization with special events such as a Shopping Night that will be held on Wednesday, October 5th from 4 pm to 9 pm at the store (699 Canal Street). 25% of all registered sales will go to St. Luke’s LifeWorks. SLLW is the largest provider of services to the homeless in Lower Fairfield County. Its mission is to break the cycle of homelessness by helping people achieve — and maintain — permanent housing and stability in their lives.
