WE BRING LIGHT - An Interfaith Service of Hope and Healing - postpone to Sunday at 5

The Interfaith Council of Southwestern Connecticut invites the community to We Bring Light: An Interfaith Service of Hope and Healing on

Sunday, December 15 at 5 pm., at Church of Christ the Healer, 20 Brookdale

Road at High Ridge Road.

On the anniversary of the shootings in Newtown, the Interfaith Council invites all to come together to remember victims of violence in all our communities. The service will feature readings, prayers and music from soloists and area choirs. Area clergy will offer healing prayer. People of all faiths, and none, are invited to attend, and find a warm welcome and space to participate as much or as little as they wish. Through music and prayer we will move through lament and healing to hope, from darkness to proclaiming the light we bring. A reception follows. Admission is free – please register  for planning purposes.

Christ the Healer is located at 20 Brookdale Road, corner of High Ridge Road,   in Stamford, 1.5 miles north of Exit 35 of the Merritt Parkway. For more information, call the church office at 322-6991 or check the website, www.christthehealerstamford.org
