"Turkey's Chastened Circumstances"

Gerald
Robbins, Sr. Fellow, the Foreign Policy Research Institute, will speak at the
World Affairs Forum on March 12 at UCONN/Stamford.  The program will begin at 5:45 P.M. with
networking and refreshments, followed by the presentation at 6:15.  The program will conclude at 7:30 P.M.



Robbins
is currently a Senior Fellow with the Foreign Policy Research Institute. He
specializes in analyzing Turkey, the Caucasus region, and Central Asia. He
has reported for The Weekly Standard, the Asian Wall Street Journal Weekly and
the Washington Times. He has also served as Program Director for Freedom House
in Azerbaijan, managing post-Soviet political and economic programs. In
addition, he authored Azerbaijan as part of Mason Crest/FPRI's "The Growth
and Influence of Islam" series. Robbins frequently lectures at
universities and policy institutes.
