"Trade Policy At A Crossroads"

The public is invited to attend an Ambassadors’
Roundtable series dinner presentation by Susan Schwab on "Trade Policy at
a Crossroads”. This event will take place at the Stamford Yacht Club on November
6, 2013.



 



Susan C. Schwab is
the Former US Trade Representative and is currently a Strategic Advisor in
Mayer Brown’s Government & International Trade practice. In addition she is
a professor at the School of Public Policy at the University of Maryland, where
previously she had served as Dean, and as President of the University System of
Maryland Foundation.

Ambassador Schwab
has more than three decades of international trade and policy experience. She has
held positions as a trade negotiator, Trade Policy Officer at the American
Embassy, Chief Economist and Legislative Assistant for International Trade and Legislative Director
for Sen. John
Danforth (R-Mo), Director
General of the US & Foreign Commercial Service at the US Department of
Commerce, and senior executive at Motorola Inc. negotiating deals to access the
Chinese market.

The cost for the dinner and
presentation is free for AR series members and $105 for the general public. The
event will start at 6:15 P.M. with a cash bar.  Dinner will begin at 7 P.M. and will
be followed by the presentation. Reservations
and advance payment are required.
