New Canaan, CT – Through Our Eyes III, a New Canaan High School art exhibition presented by the New Canaan Society for the Arts Inc. and sponsored by the New Canaan High School PFA, Vineyard Vines and Karl Chevrolet, will open on Saturday, March 1, with an opening reception from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, February 28th, in the Betty Barker Gallery at the Carriage Barn Arts Center in Waveny Park. The opening reception is free and open to the public.
The New Canaan Society for the Arts Inc., at the Carriage Barn Arts Center, is a non-profit arts organization that promotes artistic achievement, encourages creative expression, and enriches the community through exhibitions, educational programs, and special performances. The Carriage Barn Arts Center offers artists opportunities to exhibit their work in an exceptional gallery space in a unique nineteenth-century stone barn. Exhibitions, lectures, educational workshops, concerts and other events are held in this adaptively reused historical building on the grounds of a former estate, now Waveny Park.
