Stamford's Bike to Work Day Event

May 16th is National Bike to Work Day, and South Western Regional Planning Agency is hosting a Bike Walk Connecticut (bikewalkct.org) Bike to Work Day event at Veteran's Park. There will be a bike safety inspection by Danny's Cycles, breakfast and coffee via the Vanchetta Food Truck, and a special presentation by the Stamford Downtown Special Services District, who is presenting a bicycle to Stamford Mayor David Martin. Congressman Jim Himes is also attending what is sure to be a fun and memorable event.

Admission is free and all residents who wish to bike to work on May 16th are encouraged to take the Bike Walk Connecticut pledge at: https://events.r20.constantcontact.com/register/eventReg?oeidk=a07e9550ffa9e9ab62b&oseq=&c=&ch=
