Stamford Hospital Health Wellness & Sports Expo 2013

It’s time to take
charge of your health at the Stamford Hospital Health Wellness & Sports
Expo 2013, Saturday, September 21 and Sunday, September 22, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
at Chelsea Piers Connecticut, the 400,000-sq-ft state-of-the-art sports and
recreation facility at 1 Blachley Road in Stamford. Now in its second year, the
event will feature free health screenings by Stamford Hospital and a wide
variety of exhibitors covering nutrition, weight management, children’s health,
pet wellness, fitness programs, spa and beauty treatments, financial health,
green technology, lifetime sports, alternative medicine plus fitness demos.
Admission is free.  All ages
welcome.  Those who bring in one or more
nonperishable food items will receive a free raffle ticket for a chance to win
a healthy door prize. Or raffle tickets can be purchased for $5.00. All food
and proceeds will be donated to the Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County.  Additional sponsors include Grade A ShopRite,
