NATURE AT NIGHT: Annual Summer Family Camp Out

Saturday, August 3, 5:30 pm - Sunday, August 4, 9 am

Discover
the wonders of the nighttime world from bats to owls at our annual family
campout! Pitch a tent under the stars, peer through the telescope in our
Observatory into the night sky, meet live nocturnal animals and get a special
tour of our Bats: Masters of the Night exhibition. Put your night vision to
work as we take a nocturnal creatures hike and even build your own bat box to
take home. Start your evening with a great dinner on the meadow, roast
marshmallows for a sweet treat over the campfire and awake to a pancake
breakfast featuring our own maple syrup. A great experience for first timers or
seasoned campers.  All meals are
included. Enrollment is limited. Pre-registration and pre-payment are required.
To register, please call 203.977.6521. Members: $110 for 1 parent/child; $35
for each addl. family member. Non-Members: $150 for 1 parent/child; $35 for
