Larry Kudlow will be the featured speaker at the April 22 New Covenant House of Hospitality Celebrity Breakfast

 New Covenant House of Hospitality (NCH) ˗˗ a soup kitchen serving lower Fairfield County  ˗˗  will hold its 10th Annual Celebrity Breakfast Fundraiser on April 22 at Woodway Country Club of Darien.

The breakfast, which will be held from 7:30-9:00 a.m., will feature a keynote presentation by award-winning newscaster Larry Kudlow, who is the anchor of CNBC's prime-time program The Kudlow Report. He is also the host of The Larry Kudlow Show, which broadcasts each Saturday on WABC Radio and is syndicated nationally by Cumulus Media.

A nationally syndicated columnist, Kudlow is a contributing editor of National Review magazine, as well as a columnist and economics editor for National Review Online. He is the author of American Abundance: The New Economic and Moral Prosperity.

“Money raised during the Celebrity Breakfast will help to feed the hungry, "notesChairperson Heide Moeller of Stamford. “By attending this breakfast, our supporters will share their generosity as well as help to raise awareness of  our less fortunate neighbors here in lower Fairfield County.”

Adds Moeller, "This year, because of the depressed economy, we need help more than ever.”

New Covenant House of Hospitality provides its guests with three meals a day, 365-days-per-year, through its Soup Kitchen and Pantry Program, providing in excess of 700,000 meals annually. Further, NCH’s After School Meal Program, which is conducted in partnership with The Yerwood Center and Inspirica Programs, serves 275 hot meals daily. For many children in the program, this may be their last hot meal of the day.


The cost of the breakfast is $200 per seat. In addition, Corporate Sponsor Tables of 10 (Silver, gold and Platinum) can be purchased at costs ranging from $3,000 to $10,000. Those who would like to attend or make a donation are asked to send checks written to "New Covenant House Breakfast" to NCH, 90 Fairfield Ave., PO Box 10883, Stamford, CT 06902.
