"Financing Terrorism"

Luke Bronin, current General Counsel in the
Office of the Governor of CT, will speak on “Financing Terrorism” as part of
the World Affairs Forum’s lecture series at UCONN/Stamford on Wednesday, April
2, 2014.



Bronin most recently served as the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Terrorist
Financing and Financial Crimes at the U.S. Department of the Treasury in
Washington, D.C. In that capacity, he helped lead the federal government’s
efforts to isolate the repressive regimes in Iran and Syria, disrupt the flow
of funds to the Taliban and terrorist groups around the world, and combat
transnational organized crime.
