FAMILY CHRISTMAS EVE AT CHRIST THE HEALER

Family Service at 5 pm, Candlelight Worship with Tenor

Soloist at 10 pm

Christmas Eve worship at the Church of
Christ the Healer in Stamford will feature a 5 pm Family Christmas Eve service, with a “pick-up pageant,” and

special music featuring Tom King on the trumpet and the church’s band leading
carols. Children are welcome to come in costumes as angels, shepherds or sheep –
or any animal they fancy! The church is located at 20 Brookdale Road at the corner of High Ridge Road, 1.5 miles north of Merritt Parkway Exit 35.

The church also
offers a 10 pm Candlelight Eucharist on December 24, with award-winning tenor, Juan Carlos
Franco (www.juan-franco.com), as a

soloist. Juan Carlos Franco is a European
finalist of the Pavarotti International Voice Competition held in Modena,
Italy. He qualified in his native Colombia, where Mr. Pavarotti chose him as
winner. He has been featured in opera, oratorio and recitals with the New
Orleans Opera, Cleveland Opera, Opera de Colombia, New Jersey Symphony, Lyric

Opera Cleveland, Ohio Light Opera, Hudson Opera Theater and Orquesta Sinfónica
del Valle in Cali, Colombia, among others. A graduate of Oberlin Conservatory,
he spent several season with the Cleveland Opera before moving to New York to
continue his career.
