Today, Trouvelout's works endure as the most detailed and meticulous illustrations of celestial phenomena ever complied. Included in the exhibition will be images as varied as the Planet Jupiter, The Great Comet of 1881 and the Partial Eclipse of the Moon. These detailed lithographs may appear to be photographs, but don't be fooled, they were created exclusively by the keen eye and steady hand of Mr. Trouvelot.
