One of America's most celebrated designers, Thom Filicia, will appear at the Wakefield Design Center on Thursday, November 29th from 5:00-7:00 p.m. for the signing of his new book, American Beauty: Renovating and Decorating a Beloved Retreat.
American Beauty is part memoir and part decorating book and tells the story of the two year impassioned renovatin of Filicia's own fixer-upper in Skaneateles Lake, New York, where he had vacationed as a child. The book is an inspirational resource that imparts the designer's extensive wisdom on creating rooms tht feel modern yet meaningful and classic.
