The Nutcracker NYC Fundraiser

For the first year The Nutcracker, A Contemporary Ballet's Annual Fundraiser is hosted at Connecticut Dance Center. There will be two performances, at 1pm and 5pm; there will also be a scilent auction, food and beverage, allong with music, dancing, and FUN!

This year’s show is presented at the renowned Ailey Citigroup Theater in Manhattan on December 8th, 9th, 15th and 16th. It will feature students from Stamford’s Connecticut Dance Center LLC, under the
direction of Tamara Saari is invited to participate in The Nutcracker,A Contemporary Ballet each year. Ms. Saari
requires that the students train at least once a week in ballet technique and participate in weekend rehearsals. During the rehearsal, students learn choreography alongside history
lessons about the classic ballet introducing
Tchaikovsky, Marius Petipa and other important
artists into their vocabulary. We are proud to
be able to extend this performance opportunity
to our neighboring community. The Connecticut
parents are provided with a convenient
rehearsal location with top notch ballet training
and performance opportunities in New York
City.
