Terry Conners Synchronized Skating Open

The Skating Club of Southern Connecticut of Stamford, CT is proud to present the 13th Annual Terry Conners Synchronized Skating Open on Saturday, December 1st and Sunday December 2nd, 2012 at the Terry Conners Rink in Stamford, CT.


The Terry Conners Rink is home ice for the Southern Connecticut Synchronized Skating organization representing the Skating Club of Southern Connecticut.  The club skates three synchronized skating lines:  the Shadows (Open Juvenile), Shimmers (Pre-Juvenile) and Sprites (Beginner 2). 


The Shadows, Shimmers and Sprites along with approximately 70 of other teams from Connecticut, New York, New Jersey and all around the Eastern Seaboard will be demonstrating choreographed programs that will be judged for speed, difficulty of maneuvers and precision, as well as for style and artistic expression. The Terry Conners Synchronized Skating Open attracts about 1,000 skaters and coaches, and over 1,000 fans and supporters over the two day event.

This competition is proud to be part of the Eastern Synchronized Skating Challenge Series. Participation in this series is open to all Beginner 1, 2, or 3 teams and preliminary, pre-juvenile, open juvenile, open collegiate or open adult teams.


Event Time:  Saturday 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.,  Sunday 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Spectator admission fee is $7.00 for adults, $3.00 for children under 12 and senior citizens.  Veterans and military personnel with proper ID are admitted without charge. Only cash is accepted.
