Instrumental Scholarship Competition for 2012
Exceptional student musicians wanted! The Stamford Symphony Orchestra is pleased to announce its Instrumental Scholarship Competition for 2012 with Jeniam Foundation prizes of $10,000 for first and $7,000 for second place.
This yearly competition is open to high school seniors in the state of Connecticut, and is judged by a panel of distinguished professional musicians from the New York metropolitan area. It is intended to recognize and encourage high school musicians in their senior year to continue studies on their instruments as music performance majors at accredited conservatories, colleges and universities.
Initial Application and Recordings must be received in the Symphony offices by December 3, 2012.
