Designing Greenwich, a unique showcase and shopping event featuring shopping, a speaker series,  art and antiques, furniture designers and custom salons by internationally known interior designers, will be held November 9th through 12th at The Loading Dock in Stamford.


The first-ever show of its kind in Fairfield County, Designing Greenwich will showcase a curated collection of  fine art, modern antiques, mid-century objects, works on paper, bespoke fabrics, couture jewelry and a marketplace of gifts to take home for the holidays.  The selection offers designers, architects, collectors and consumers access and exposure to distinct work from over 35 notable galleries, craftsmen, and designers around the world including: Marion Harris Fine Art, Meredith Marks Designs, ManArt Gallery of France, Daria de Koning  Fine Jewelry, Baccarat, Art Cabinet Nantucket, Green River Stone Company,  Cross Mackenzie Gallery of Washington, DC, Homenature, Megna Glass, Custom Cool, Savoir Beds and Puccio Fine Art, R.E. Steele Antiques, Fairchild Baldwin, and more.


The weekend event kicks off on November 9 from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. with a Designer Breakfast and Preview, featuring Connecticut Cottages & Gardens’ Editorial Director D.J. Carey, world-renowned architect and designer Tony Ingrao and special  guest speaker Crans Baldwin, President of Donghia.  The “Time for Design” lecture speakers series will run throughout the weekend and  includes notable designers such as Vincente Wolf, Secrets of Design Bloggers, Lulu Powers, Florence Dedampierre, Amanda Nisbet, Carolyne Roehm, Clodagh, Janice Parker, Michael Storrings, Alex Papachristidis, Annie Falk, Victoria Amory, Susanna Salk and Helen Klisser During.


A lounge has been created by Design Within Reach and the café will have a chef on hand to offer gourmet fare during the show.


Hours are:  Friday, November 9 and Saturday, November 10, 11:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m; Sunday, November 11, 11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. and Monday, November 12, 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.


Ticket are $20 for a one day pass; $75.00 for a VIP all access pass that includes entrance to all areas, lectures, book signings and an invitation to the opening breakfast reception.
