Dance With Me Stamford to Host “Mambo, Massage & Merlot” Party Wednesday Evening December 5th

Darien’s Lanphier Day Spa & Greenwich’s Horseneck Wines & Liquors Partnering With Studio to Offer Holiday Fun & Stress Relief; Proceeds Will Benefit Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County

STAMFORD, Conn., November 15, 2012- For those feeling the stress of holiday shopping and planning, ballroom dance studio Dance With Me Stamford is offering a fun and relaxing break when it hosts its 'Mambo, Massage & Merlot’ ballroom dancing party on Wednesday evening, December 5th with a group class at 7:40 pm, followed by the party from 8:30-10 pm. The public is invited. The event will take place at Dance With Me Stamford, 20 Summer Street, 5th floor. Admission is $15 per person and includes ballroom dancing, chair massage, wine, refreshments and more.

Proceeds of the evening will benefit the Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County, whose stock of holiday food has been depleted helping those families in need after super-storm Sandy. To raise additional funds, the event will feature a silent auction that will include products and services from Dance With Me, Horseneck Wines and Liquors of Greenwich, Lanphier Day Spa & Salon of Darien and other local businesses.

Lanphier Day Spa & Salon is partnering with Dance With Me Stamford to provide massage and other relaxing therapies at the party and will offer certificates for massages, pedicures, seasonal body scrubs and BareMinerals makeup applications at its luxurious new facility at 20 West Avenue, directly across from the Darien MetroNorth train station. www.lanphierdayspa.com

Horseneck Wines & Liquors is providing the wines for the event. A frequent contributor to charitable events, owner Terry Rogers is a ballroom dancing enthusiast and last spring was a contestant in the Dancing with the Stars fundraiser to benefit Curtain Call, the non-profit theater company. www.horseneck.com 

For new students, Dance With Me is giving a certificate for a complementary dance lesson with one of the studio's highly trained instructors. First-time students may also attend the group dance class immediately before the party from 7:40 to 8:30 at no charge.
