Dance With Me Stamford to Host “Dance & Date” Valentine’s Party Wednesday Evening February 13th

David’s Soundview Catering of Stamford & Purple Feet Wine & Spirits of Westport Partnering With Studio in Over-40 Singles Event; Proceeds Will Benefit Stamford Animal Rescue (STARescue) 

   STAMFORD, Conn., January 24, 2013- This year area singles over 40 can celebrate Valentine’s Day at a fun social event in an elegant and romantic setting -- and perhaps meet their soul mates at the same time. Ballroom dance studio Dance With Me Stamford is inviting Fairfield and Westchester County mature singles to “Dance & Date”, an opportunity to learn or brush up on their dance skills with more dating possibilities as the goal -- and all for a good cause. The event is on Wednesday evening, February 13th from 6:30 to 8:30 at Dance With Me Stamford, 20 Summer Street, 5th floor (Lobby entrance off Summer Street municipal parking lot next to Maya Riviera entry.) Admission is $50 per person and includes ballroom dancing, wine and gourmet hors d’oeuvres, facilitated matches by Charity Matchmaking and special offers for attendees. Proceeds of the evening’s auction will benefit Stamford Animal Rescue and its STARescue programs to help pet owners care for these beloved family members during times of financial, health and other stress or during military service. Event partners David’s Soundview Catering, Inc. of Stamford and Purple Feet Wine & Spirits of Westport are contributing hors d’oeuvres and wine, respectively. Dance With Me, its event partners and other area businesses will also donate items to a silent auction to support STARescue.

The evening’s highlights include, traditional dance cards to be filled, a group dance lesson and the ballroom version of popular ‘Speed Dating’ – ‘Speed Dancing’ -- where singles will be able to quickly sample the dancing and conversational styles of a number of partners.
