Bella’s Way Equine Rescue is a nonprofit horse rescue, based in Fairfield County, is dedicated to rescuing horses that are neglected, abandoned, abused or at risk to being sent to slaughter. These rescued horses are evaluated with recommended needs, affording them the opportunity of being placed for adoption into loving and caring forever homes.

“We welcome Bella’s Way Equine Rescue to educate our animal loving clientele on horse rescue”, explained Shirleen Dubuque, owner of Village Critter Outfitter. “Many of our clients have experience in horse and dog and cat care. We thought it would be a great opportunity to learn about the wonderful work this horse rescue does.  Sprinkles, the miniature horse, would love to say hello, too.”

The event takes place on February 2nd from 11:00am to 3:00pm at Village Critter Outfitter, 107 Cherry Street. For more information, visit www.villagecritteroutfitter.com or call the store at 203-972-7000.
