EST Baseball Summer Camp

EST Baseball will be conducting four weekly instructional sessions from June 23rd - July 18th at Stamford High School.  Players will be actively involved during the entire session and will learn mental and physical fundamentals in a fun, safe environment.

During each weekly session players will learn fundamentals of fielding (both infield and outfield), hitting, bunting, base running, and proper throwing technique.  Agility, speed and strength work will be part of each day's curriculum.  In addition to fundamentals and drills, games will be played daily with an emphasis on situational play and "baseball IQ" in a game setting.

The camp director and head instructor is Rit Lacomis (SHS Assistant Varsity Coach), who has has been actively involved in the baseball community for numerous years and has experience coaching and playing at all levels from little league to college.  He is a Physical Education and Health Teacher at SHS, as well as a certified CPR and First Aid Instructor.  Other camp instructors are all baseball enthusiasts that went on to play college baseball and coach at the high school level.

Camp Sessions are June 23-27, June 30 - July 4, July 7-11, and July14-18 from 9 - 12.  The cost for each individual session is $200 with sibling and milt-session discounts.  Baseball players of all levels aged 7-13 are welcome.  Players 7-11 will be in the minors division, while players ages 12-13 will be in the majors division.  Players may also be regrouped by the instructors based on ability and safety of the player.
