Connecticut Legislative Leadership Breakfast

The Business Council of Fairfield County will host Connecticut’s Legislative Leadership Breakfast on Wednesday, March 19th at the Sheraton Stamford Hotel. Registration begins at 7:45 a.m. and the breakfast program will run from 8:00 to 9:30 a.m.

The breakfast will feature Senate President Pro Tempore Don Williams (D - Brooklyn), Speaker of the House of Representatives J. Brendan Sharkey (D-Hamden), House Minority Leader Larry Cafero (R-Norwalk) and Senate Minority Leader Pro Tempore John McKinney (R-Fairfield). 

In the context of an improving state economy and a projected $500m surplus, Connecticut’s Democratic and Republican leaders have announced their proposals for the current legislative session.

Joe McGee, The Business Council’s VP Public Policy will moderate a panel that offers no speeches, and plenty of time for Q & A.
