All Aboard: The Millennial Trains Project

What happens when you put 24 Millennials on a cross- country train
and challenge them to build something? On Thursday, November 21,
Samantha Klein will share her eye-opening story about being one of the
lucky 24 selected for the Millennial Trains Project. Samantha will
describe how these young pioneering participants gained new perspectives
about our country. Created, funded and executed using today’s
technology, the project enabled 24 Millennials to take the same trip our
forebears made to open the Wild West. Today, the Internet is our new
Wild West. We are also pleased to present Jessica Straus, the founder of
Straus Public Strategies the agency that launched the communications
for this unique cross country experience.

This is a not-to-be-missed view of our country through the eyes of
the new generation of knowledge workers. In the words of Peter Propp,
vice president of marketing at the Stamford Innovation Center, “At our
coworking and startup facility, we make it a point to ensure our
offerings and events are geared to meet the wants and needs of recent
college graduates, so we’re delighted to host the AMA’s Millennial
Trains Project Presentation.”
