Stamford Teen in Critical Condition Following Crash

A 16-year-old Stamford girl is reportedly still unconscious and in critical condition in a New York hospital following a that killed her girlfriend.
According to a report on lohud.com, Celia Sprouse, a junior at , remains in critical but stable condition, attached to a respirator, in Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla. She reportedly sustained severe head trauma in the single-vehicle crash that occurred shortly after 9 p.m. Sunday, and has been unconscious since. Doctors are expected to attempt to wake her in a couple days to determine the extent of her head trauma, the report states.
Sprouse’s female companion, Maggie Radford, 17, of Croton-on-Hudson, NY, was reportedly killed when the BMW she was driving struck a tree on Interstate 287 south at its interchange with I-95 north in Rye.

Sprouse was initially transported to Greenwich Hospital, but was transferred early Monday to Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, according to the report.
