According to New York Magazine, American pizza was the largest growth category of the last two decades, and they rounded up 101 of the best slices a person can get in the country.
Anyone who's ever had pizza in Stamford has a complete lack of surprise that the city should take some of those elite spots on the list.
According to the Grub Street foodie blog, Stamford's own Colony Grill's Hot Oil Pizza was listed in the thin-crust category as one of the best, and said, "you can't help but respect a place that only has one thing on the menu."
So, congrats to Colony for recognition outside city limits.
