Stamford-based Eastern Land Management Wins Award

The Environmental Improvement Award was given in recognition the company's innovative waterfall restoration at the White Plains, NY headquarters of Nine West Group.

-based commercial landscaping firm has reportedly won an Environmental Improvement Award from Professional Landcare Network (PLANET), an industry trade organization with more than 3,600 member companies and affiliates.

The award, which was presented to ELM President Bruce Moore Sr. at a recent green industry conference in Louisville, KY, was given in recognition the company’s innovative waterfall restoration at the White Plains, NY headquarters of Nine West Group, according to a press release.

“This type of project is especially rewarding for us,” Moore said in the release. “Our goal was to create a relaxing environment combining both visual and auditory elements for the enjoyment of Nine West employees and their visitors.”

Eastern Land Management, located at 142 Hamilton Avenue, is a full-service commercial landscape and irrigation management company serving hospitals, corporations, schools, retail outlets and municipalities. Celebrating its the comany reportedly has 75 full-time and seasonal employees.
