Pavia announced Orgera's suspension as a Dept. of Operations official with an op-ed piece that was sent to the Stamford Advocate.

"I believe that three [weeks] suspension, without pay, was an adequate recognition of a failure of management."

Pavia stated that because Orgera did not commit a crime, his failures were punishable, but they were not grounds for termination.

"We need to figure out how we're going to tighten up on management, and the quality of management throughout all operations," Pavia said.
