Favorite Stamford Deli: Fusaro Market

Stamfordites are passionate about where they go for the perfect sandwich and displayed great appreciation for the variety, customer service and atmosphere their favorite delis have to offer. 

After Stamford Patch readers cast their votes and visited our continuously updated directory of businesses in the city to help decide this week’s we're happy to announce that the winner is: 

The High Ridge Road eatery earned 53 percent of the poll votes, edging out  on East Main Street, which earned 45 percent of the poll votes. Fusaro also received the highest number of .

: "The Fusaro's deli and market is truly a family business. Whether Mike is moving quickly behind the counter to make sure your order is taken care of, or Liz is talking to you at checkout, or Joe is in the back stirring the hot peppers and the pot of fresh marinara sauce, or Johnny is smiling and helping the customers...you know when you walk in there you will get the service you need and then walk out with some delicious food. The Fusaro family deserves a lot of credit for starting and maintaining the family business for over 20 years! God bless them!"

: "Rinaldis is a family deli when every one sits down to eat and enjoy a convo and a laugh is greats we go in there and sit down on the big bench or you can choose tables its great you talk to people you dont know right when you walk into the deli its like your family not only with the owners but with the costumers. Everyone talks to each other and laughs its wonderful and of course there food is amazing.. Hands down best deli in stamford everything is homemade and boars head... And fresh!!"

: I've been going to Fusaro's for years and they have always treated me with so much love and respect. They are the most hardest working people that I know and they are open 7 DAYS a week!!!! They are NEVER closed and that is true dedication. They are the only people I know that are open on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. That is the true meaning of dedication and hard workers. I tip my hat to them and they deserve it!!!

: Rinaldi's is amazing and you are totally right they should have their own reality TV show! When ever you go in there its always a good time and you leave with a smile and a delicious sandwich! Everything is always fresh and you gotta LOVE their chicken cutlets!!!
