Families and Community Honor Victims of Manchester Shooting

The state of Connecticut held an annual ceremony for the eight victims of Omar Thornton's Aug. 3, 2010 workplace shooting.

Families, communities, and even state officials attended a Wednesday morning ceremony to honor the , according to the Stamford Times.

Gov. Dannel P. Malloy was present at the ceremony, where eight steel pillars were dedicated to the eight victims of shooting spree that began at 7 a.m., Aug 3rd, 2010.

Thornton committed suicide following his rampage.
