Facebook Group for Greenwich's Mountain Lion

The big cat's favorite recording artist apparently is Lionel Richie. Favorite movie? "The Lion King."

Was it ‘Born Free’ or is it a ‘Lion (that) Sleeps Tonight’?

No one knows for sure but the nameless mountain lion that’s been lurking through the Northwest corner of Greenwich for more than a week has a few friends.

In fact, the feline has nearly 150 friends on its own Facebook page.

The lion not only is a alumna (its sex is listed as a female),  even though it prefers the confines of the King Street campus. It’s a grad of Penn State – home of the Nittany Lions. So could it be a “cougar” in mountain lion clothing stalking Greenwich?

For entertainment, its favorite flick is ‘The Lion King,’ natch! Lionel Richie is its favorite singer!

The “unemployed” cat lists its interests – “ food, water and chasing small animals (or tacky people in animal prints).”

While state Department of Environmental Protection experts are working to find the cat that also has been seen wandering through the Belle Faire condominium complex on King Street in Rye Brook, NY, the lion posts on Facebook: “Can anyone point me in the direction of the Avenue?"

If it takes a stroll along West Putnam Avenue, maybe it can pick up a Jaguar from one of the local auto dealerships to quicken the trip to The Ave.
