- In police news, a Stamford man allegedly slashed open a pool liner with a knife after the homeowner at the residence he'd been staying at asked him to leave, a major gambling ring broken up in Norwalk included the arrest of a Stamford man on charges he was a dealer there and a heavyset suspect was allegedly causing headaches for police and had to be tazed twice in two days.
- In school news, Stamford high schools graduated this week (Congratulations Class of 2013!) Here are a couple galleries from the ceremonies at Westhill and Stamford High.
- In political news, Democratic mayoral candidate David Martin officially opened the doors to his campaign headquarters in the city and Texas Governor Rick Perry stopped by as part of Mayor Michael Pavia's Civility in America series to talk civility on the campaign trail (Video included!)
