A determined Rubino Bros. team pulled away with a 20 - 10 win over Beldotti Bakeries. The offense was lead off by Cameron Cahoon's triple... The strong offense was followed with hits from Captain Sean Pratt, Zack Restivo, Hoyt Drynan, Tyler Restivo, Mike Pratt, Matt Buzzeo, Mike McCabe & Timmy Silkowitz... The outfield led by Danny Tisser did a great job of getting the balls in, while Zack Restivo & Matthew Tromba made great plays at second base... Benji Hoff, Mike McCabe & Tyler Restivo did a great job on the mound while Cameron Cahoon & Hoyt Drynan were great behind the plate...

 

  PAL defeated Instant Replay in a slugfest 21-11.  The PAL offense was lead by Leo Socci, Danny Collazo, Nick Romanello, Anthony Rizzi and Chris Connolly who all had multiple RBIs lead by Connolly's 5 RBI day.  Rodd Salvatore, Ben Wilson and Christian Hamilton kept the PAL offensive moving by scoring a combined 8 runs at the top and bottom of the order.

 Air Solution defeated Rubino Brothers 14-9 behind a strong pitching performance from Jack Zweig and a offensive onslaught keyed by David Collazo, Rocky Cuscuna, Jimi Cosentino, and Josh Lewis. 

 

 Friday, June 1st 2012

 Air Solutions 7, Camsan 1

David Collazo was the winning pitcher for Air Solutions in a pitcher's duel with Chris Skrenock on Camsan. Air Solutions was led on offense by Kevin Salvatore with 3 hits and got solid defense from Matthew Farro, who had a spectacular diving catch, Jake Dobrucky and Grihith Manchanda. 

 

 Saturday, June 2nd 2012

Stamford American's Dr. Bs defeated Federal LL PAL  13 to 0.   Dom Echeverria pitched a complete game, including 11 strikeouts.   The offense was led by Lucas Beldotti with 3 hits, and Chris Bell, Evan Kaplan and Mark Raimondi , each with two hits. 

 

Stamford American's Instant Replay defeated Federal Grade A with a final score of 16 to 3.   Mike Riddle, Jack Palmer and Danny Sachs shared pitching duty.   Collectively the team came through with a strong offensive attack.

 

 Stamford American PAL beat Federal Little League  ESC 11 - 0.    PAL pitcher Anthony Rizzi shut down the ESC squad with a complete game shut out.  The PAL offense was lead by Nick Romanello, who hit a grand slam for his 4th HR of the season and Rodd Salvatore who ignited the PAL offense by reaching base each time up as the PAL leadoff hitter.

Stamford American PAL also defeated Federal  Knights of Columbus 9-4 to improve their season record to 14 and 1.  Leo Socci pitched a solid 4 2/3 innings agianst a tough KC lineup striking out 7.  The PAL offiesne was lead by Danny Collazo who went 3 for 3 with a HR and 3 RBI.  Chris Rojas also had a big hand in the PAL offense reaching base everytime up.  Greg Marantz and Christian Hamilton kept the bottom of the PAL line up moving by reaching base and scoring runs each time up.


Sunday, June 3rd 2012

 PAL beat 2nd place Exchange 10-1.  Offensively it was a great team effort all around to support Danny Collazo who pitched 5 2/3 innings giving up only 1 run to the potent Exchange offense.  In a reversal of roles the PAL players gave the gameball to their coaches at the end of the game to thank them for all their hard work and dedication this season.


Instant Replay defeated Dr. Bs  8 -2.    Lewis Baer turned in another impressive pitching performance, going a full 5 innings.  Mick Dudek came in to close the game in the rain.   Strong on the offense, highlights included a triple, single and homerun from Nico Laveris.   Lewis Baer, Mike Riddle, Mick Dudek, Jack Palmer, Dan Sachs, Cole Cahoon also came through with strong hitting.
