Stamford American Little League - Results Round Up

Scores for the Stamford American Little League for week of May 2nd - May 13th

Wednesday, May 2nd, 2012
CamSan Electric defeated AllSports in a 13 to 10 high scoring match up.

SALL Dr. B’s defeated Federal LL ESC in an interleague match up, 17 to 3.   Strong offense for Dr. B’s was lead by Matt Valenti and Lucas Beldotti,  with four hits each.   They were helped by Mark Raimondi and Evan Kaplan, each with two hits.

Monday, May 7th
Beldotti Bakery beat team Rubino in a squeaker.  The game transferred leads several times, and players from each team contributed both on the field and at the plate.  Final score was 12 to 11.

Tuesday, May 8th
David Colazzo belted a home run for Air Solutions, and Michael Vakos had a key hit in the fifth inning.  Air Solutions had a strong collective pitching effort, including Josh Lewis, Kevin Salvatore, Conner Harshman, and Rocky Cuscuna.

Stamford American’s Exchange defeated Federal Little League’s PAL – final score 4 to 0.

Wednesday, May 9th
Stamford American’s Instant Replay defeated Federal Little League’s ESC in a five inning 10 -0  match up.  Instant Replay was lead by solid pitching by Nico Laveris, who struck out 10.  Mick Dudek came in as relief pitcher to close the game.  Instant Replay’s strong hitting came from Laveris, Jack Palmer, Louis Baer and Gary Morgan.

Stamford American PAL beat Federal Grade A, by a score of 10 to 1.   Chis Rojas, Leo Socci, Anthony Rizzi and Ben Wilson combined pitching efforts for 6 innings giving up 2 runs on three hits and 11 strikeouts.   Offense was paced by Nick Romanello, Chris Rojas and and Chris Connolly who combined for 8 hits and 8 RBIs.   Play of the game - Chris Rojas stole home on a throw back to the pitcher when PAL batted around in a 5 run fifth inning.

Saturday, May 12th
Bats were alive on Saturday morning, when CamSam Electric beat Rubino in a  17 to 5 battle.

Team All Sports defeated Beldotti Bakery by a score of 9 to 3.

Sunday, May 13th
All Sports defeated Rubino in a close, but high scoring game.   Final tally – 18 to 17.

Dr. Bs defeated Instant Replay in a pitcher’s duel, led by Lucas Beldotti of Dr. B’s and Lewis Baer for Instant Replay.   The scoreless battle featured several spectacular catches from Mark Raimondi.  Final was 2 to 0.
