Yoga Studio to Open in Stamford's Harbor Point

The new 9,000-square-foot facility located at 2200 Atlantic Street is scheduled to open in February.

Exhale Mind Body Studio is the latest tenant announced for Stamford’s Harbor Point, one of the largest redevelopment projects currently underway in the U.S.

The ambitious project involves redevelopment of five separate sections of Stamford’s South Side totaling about 80 acres. Once completed it will feature more than 6 million square feet of , , office and hotel space, as well as 11 acres of new parkland, waterfront trails, and a marina.

“Residents and tenants of Harbor Point and visitors to the area will have a world-class fitness facility right at their doorstep as they live, work and play,” said Carl Kuehner III, CEO of Building and Land Technology, the Stamford-based real estate development firm behind Harbor Point, in a press release.

The new 9,000 square foot facility located at 2200 Atlantic Street, scheduled to open in February, will feature a Core Fusion studio, yoga studio, Core Cycling studio, and a luxury gym, in addition to a boutique stocked with exclusive apparel, skincare and wellness products, according to the release. It is reportedly the nineteenth Exhale Mind Body Studio location, however the release does not state where the others are.

Recently the Stamford Advocate reported that that was seeking approval to revise its plans for the hotel planned for the parcel located at the tip of Washington Boulevard, overlooking Stamford Harbor, changing the design from a single, 13-story building to two “slender” 22-story towers in order to capture more harbor views.

If approved the new hotel buildings would have between 130 and 140 rooms as well as 60 condominium units, according to the report.
