What You'll Find at Blue Beads Thrift Shop

Looking for great deal on the wedding dress of your dreams or the perfect gift for Mother's Day? Surprisingly, Blue Beads at 990 Hope Street, which is mostly known as a consignment and thrift shop for children's clothes and toys, has these items and more.

In addition to carrying secondhand items for the littlest ones in the family, customers also flock to Blue Beads for a mix of secondhand and new women's shoes and clothes, jewelry and home decor.

In the gallery above, you'll find a never-worn lace wedding dress (the bride never made it down the aisle) for $120, a vintage-looking Raggedy Ann doll for $14 and a wooden crib for $150.

Looking to sell instead of buy? According to owner Nancy Fajardo, who took the business over from her best friend three months ago, interested parties can bring their gently used items, which will be placed on display for two months. If the items aresold, the profits are spilt 50/50. If the item don't sell, they are returned to their original owner.
