Stamford Recycling Solutions Firm Upgrades RI Facility

Rhode Island Resource Recovery Corp. is reportedly one of Stamford-based Van Dyk Recycling Solutions' oldest customers, going back to the late 1980s.

Rhode Island Resource Recovery Corp. has reportedly upgraded its recycling facility to support single stream recycling with the installation of a Bollegraaf baler recycling system from -based .

According to a report in the Stamford Advocate, Rhode Island Resource Recovery Corp. is one of Van Dyk Recycling Solutions' oldest customers, going back to the late 1980s.

The state of and many municipalities there have reportedly switched over to the new system, which allows for commingling of a much broader array of recyclables, in loose fashion, thus enabling homeowners to recycle more waste.

The automated baler system installed by the Stamford firm, which has been in operation at RIRR since April, reportedly processes more than 50 tons of recycled materials per hour.
