Stamford-based Silo Financial Corp. Reaches Growth Milestone

Firm reports that it has closed 125 loans valued at more than $200 million.

-based , an equity real estate finance company, has reached a milestone in its growth, having closed 125 loans valued at more than $200 million, with more than $100 million in loan transactions in the past two years.

"As large banks have tightened their purse strings, Silo Financial has taken advantage of the lending climate and increased its origination volume with loans tailored specifically for each borrower," said Jonathan Daniel, founder, president and CEO of Silo Financial, in a press release.

Silo Financial offers private loans for a range of needs, including discounted noted buybacks, note acquisition financings, rehab, construction, transitional properties, second mortgages/mezzanine loans, and partner buyouts. The business says its bridge loans are used to cover a variety of real estate ventures and new construction projects including retail, mixed-use, multifamily, medical, condominiums and single-family investments.
