NY Times Review of Westport's Bartaco Agrees with Others: They Like It

And here's a roundup of what others say about Bartaco, part of a small chain that opened in town in June 2013. Bartaco's family-friendly but has plenty of tequila.

Patricia Brooks, reviewing Bartaco in Sunday's New York Times, gives it a "Good" rating, and she joins a crowd of others who gives the place a thumbs up.

"As a neighborhood drop-in place for lunch, a casual supper or anything in between, Bartaco is hard to beat," Brooks wrote in her review, which appears in the regional section of the June 29 edition.

The Storify links with this Patch article (with quotes) show that Yelp, Urbanspoon, Trip Advisor and the reviewer for Hearst Newspapers also approve.

Bartaco is family friendly, Brooks reports, but everything is a la carte and the bill can mount. Read the full review here.

The restaurant is located at 20 Wilton Rd. — on Rt. 33 near the intersection with Rt. 1 in downtown Westport, just north of the bridge on the west side of Saugatuck River.

The restaurant doesn't take reservations, but you can add your name to the seating list if you call less than a half hour before arrival, according to the Times.
