Having just constructed a largely new community of Harbor Point in the South End, Building and Land Technology is doing some things to build the community in other ways.

Building and Land Technology has announced the addition of eight new restaurants coming soon in its South End Harbor Point development (and an addition to Dinosaur Bar-B-Que, already there).

The developer also announced two more apartment buildings, new services and a slew of new events.

Here's most of the announcement issued Tuesday by the developer (Patch has changed the news release, adding subheadings and bullet points and rearranged some paragraphs):

“The new restaurants are exciting for those who live and work in Harbor Point, and for the entire Stamford community,” said Carl R. Kuehner, III, CEO of Building and Land Technology (BLT), the developer of Harbor Point.

“We believe that activating the food scene here will increase public enjoyment of Commons Park and the other open spaces, and draw people to waterfront.  There’s going to be an incredible variety of eateries here.  It should make for a great summer atmosphere.”

With these new openings, Harbor Point continues to expand Stamford’s booming nightlife and dining scene.

In addition to these new restaurants, already open in Harbor Point are Dinosaur Bar-B-Que, Harlan Social, Le Pain Quotidien, Robeks, Subway, and Whip Deli, as well as Crab Shell and Dolce Cubano just across the harbor – a short Water Taxi ride away.
