With less than a month until back-to-school, adults in our community have plenty of options for adding a class to their weekly schedule.

Classes range from the practical to the creative, building computer skills to trying something new in the arts, and there truly is something out there for everyone.

Speed Reading — NCC will offer a one-day course in speed reading this coming November to help everyone learn techniques to read faster and remember more material.

Social Media Marketing Made Simple — a free class offered this October to provide an introduction to using social media to maximize your business’s marketing plan.

Potter’s Wheel — A one-day potter’s wheel workshop is offered for people who want to try it out before committing to a full beginners’ course.

Beadmaking — In September, Lakeside Pottery will offer another round of three-hour Introduction to Glass Beadmaking classes.  Students learn how to use a gas torch, hand tools, and soft glass to make unique beads.
