El Charrito

While we can't quite call it a restaurant, the yellow food truck on Richmond Hill Avenue consistently turns out some of the best Mexican food in the city (you can also check out their ). Their pork and pineapple tacos are a personal favorite, and the constantly changing menu of tortas come highly recommended.

With two locations, 866 East Main Street (better for dining in) and 182 West Main Street (perfect for take out), it’s tough to find someone in Stamford who doesn’t rave about Casa Villa’s authentic and delicious dishes. Try their shrimp enchiladas with rice and beans.

Huge portions, great prices, and enough have-to-try-that options to keep you coming back. Their Mexican pizza — topped with chorizo, jalapenos, cilantro and onions — will have you hooked.
