Last Day for Honorable Flag Retirement Initiative on Flag Day

Tomorrow will wrap up State Rep. Michael Molgano's honorable flag retirement initiative, just in time for Flag Day.

On Thursday, June 14th, 2012, State Representative Michael Molgano will wrap up his campaign that has run since the end of May looking to collect old American flags for honorable retirement.

The campaign, which run in cooperation with Pat Battinelli representing the Marine Corps League and the Patriotic and Special Events Commission, has sought to gather up worn flags from all across the city.

Thursday will be the final day for the mass effort, and locations below will all accept flags for honorable retirement:

  • Springdale Fire Company, 987 Hope Street
  • Stamford Police Department, 805 Bedford Street
