5K Run/Walk at Stamford's Cove Island Park Raises Nearly $30K For Lyme Disease Research

More than 220 runners and walkers participated in Time for Lyme's inaugural Race Against Lyme, which helps raise money for Lyme Disease research.

Time for Lyme’s inaugural Race Against Lyme, held Sunday at 's , reportedly raised nearly $30,000 for research.

More than 220 runners and walkers participated in the 5K Run/Walk, which also helps raise awareness about the increasing number of cases of Lyme Disease and other tick-borne illnesses, according to a press release. The event also helped kick off .
