"If you can speak, you can sing!" Herrera-Crilly said in the release, describing the philosophy behind her new vocal studio. "Singing is the most natural thing in the world. Think of the infant crying for hours in the crib. Does she ever tire, get hoarse or lose her voice? We 'unlearn' the gift of song that is our birthright and the good vocal instructor knows how to uncover the natural abilities we all possess that can make anyone a better singer."

An opera singer for over 25 years, Herrera-Crilly has been acclaimed by Opera News as having an "uncommonly beautiful sound," with "tonal beauty and liquid phrasing," the release states.
