INTAKE Fashion Show Gets New Stamford Date

The event will take place Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013.

Non-profit musical exposure group INTAKE announced Tuesday the new date and time for their fundraising fashion show following cancelation of the event due to the blizzard that rolled through the region last weekend.

"A Fashion Show of Ethnic Outfits and Native Instruments" will take place Sunday, February 24 at 4 p.m. in the Stamford High School Auditorium.

Catherine Guadalupe, Queen of Riobamba-Ecuador, as a guest of the organization, met with representatives of INTAKE at Stamford Mayor Michael Pavia's office on Monday. She was in town for the event prior to its cancelation and will be in attendance for the newly scheduled show.
