The Wine Opener is a national wine tasting series to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. From wine novices to advanced wine enthusiasts, The Wine Opener is a casual and fun evening for all experience levels!  SIP GREAT WINES poured by international and domestic wineries.  SAVOR GREAT CUISINE presented at festive tasting stations, where the area's hottest chefs prepare their specialties just for you.  DISCOVER THE MARKETPLACE where local and national purveyors of fine foods, wines, liqueurs, and wine-related items present interactive displays for your enjoyment.  Along with delicious food and wine pairings, and the sights and sounds of the marketplace, guests will be treated to exciting auctions and entertainment.

Locally, The Stamford Wine Opener will be held on Thursday, September 27, 2012 at the Sheraton Hotel, Stamford, CT from 6:30pm until 9:30pm.  A special VIP reception will be held prior to the event from 5:30pm until 6:30pm.

Tickets
Tickets to the Stamford Wine Opener are available at two levels. VIP Tickets are $150 ($72 tax deductible) and feature an intimate VIP reception offering a variety of specialty wines and foods prior to the event.  Regular admission tickets are available for $100 ($42 tax deductible) and will allow you to experience great wines & delicious foods while discovering the marketplace!
