The Curiously Free: One-Year Anniversary

STAMFORD, CT – This holiday season, there will be a different kind of celebration on Bedford Street. In an unprecedented move, Fernando Luis Alvarez has opened the floor of his gallery to its artists, giving them complete creative freedom to craft and curate for the Gallery's one-year anniversary show. Titled "The Curiously Free," the exhibit will highlight the diverse styles, backgrounds, and temperaments of these artists.

At the opening, the Gallery will be honoring two community members, Stamford Downtown Special Services District President Sandy Goldstein and collector Judith Kallman, with the first-ever "Agent of Change" Award. Local businesses and restaurants such as Remo's Pizza and CT Cigar Company are partnering with the Gallery for the event, and will serve the complementary refreshments for the evening.

An opening party for "The Curiously Free" and the Gallery's anniversary will be held on Friday, December 17th, from 5 to 9PM. Questions can be directed to Rebecca Hansen at 888.861.6791, rhansen@flalvarezgallery.com.
