Stamford High School Fashion Show

Stamford High School Juniors and Seniors hit the Fashion Runway,  Thursday March 8, 7:00 PM at SHS

 

Stamford, CT  – On Thursday March 8th Stamford High School Juniors and Seniors will hit the fashion runway at 7:00 PM in the SHS Auditorium for the annual FOSH (Friends of Stamford High) sponsored fashion show.

                The fashion show is held each year to raise money to help fund the after-prom party, a drug and alcohol free celebration for all seniors and their dates after the Senior Prom in June. The proceeds from the fashion show are split between the Jr. and Sr. classes.

                This year’s Fashion Show theme is “A Knight at the Grammys" and will feature 113 student models.  The juniors will model casual fashions from Lord & Taylor while the senior girls will be outfitted in the latest prom gowns by A Step Ahead.  The senior boys will sport tuxedos from Zemo Men’s Store.  Springdale Florist and Greenhouses has donated corsages and boutonnieres.  Hair styling will be courtesy of Salon Wayne and make-up by Patti Hunt owner of Stamford based Skin Care and Make-up Center.

 

                Parent co-chairs of the event, Cynthia Demetros, Anne Palumbo, Dee Orsino and Hazel Katz thank the generous donors for the clothing and accessories as well as the many community businesses who donated raffle prizes.  They promise a glamorous evening and invite the community to come join the fun.

                Doors will open at 6:00 PM.  Tickets will be available at the door, $10.00 for adults, $5.00 for students and senior citizens. Presale tickets in the first five rows are also available for $20.00. Raffle tickets for some fantastic prizes will be sold that evening as part of the fundraising efforts.
