King Upper School students will present “Our Town” on Friday, November 18, and Saturday, November 19, at 7:00 p.m. in the King Performing Arts Center. “Our Town,” by Thornton Wilder, explores the lives of people living in a quintessentially small American town at the turn of the century. While written in 1938, the themes of young love, marriage, survival, and family are equally appropriate for the present day. Wilder said himself in a 1937 interview that “Our Town” is “a little play with all the big subjects in it.”
“Our Town” is open to the public and tickets are available for $5. To order, call (203) 322-3496, Ext. 551, or email tickets@klht.org.
