Drawing Show workshop

Stamford, Ct – February 8, 2012 - Two Saturday workshops, part of the “The Drawing Show” exhibition, invite people of all ages to come to the Loft Artists Association to draw. Children as well as parents are welcome to come for this “hands on” drawing event to take place on Saturday March 24th and Saturday March 31st from 12:00 noon until 3:30pm, at 845 Canal Street in Stamford Ct. 06902.  Admission is free. Some prizes offered.

Paper and all kinds of drawing supplies will be provided by the LAA. There will also be paper wrapped around the hallways so that people can draw on the walls in a freeform style. This has been very popular in past years. LAA artists will be on hand to answer questions and provide individual help. Drawings that remain with the LAA can be selected to put on display in an Exhibit called “The Drawing Show” opening June 15 and running until July 15. Opening Reception will be on June 15th from 6-9pm.  Prizes will be awarded at the reception.
